Refunds & Cancellations Policy

August 2025
Applies To: All clients engaging in paid services, lessons, programmes, events and/or memberships with STORM Academy.

At STORM Academy, we are committed to providing a flexible and transparent experience while ensuring fairness for both our customers and our team.
This policy outlines the terms under which refunds and class credits are issued for cancelled or missed classes.
 

1. Cancellations Made More Than 24 Hours in Advance

  • Customers who cancel a class more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full class credit in place of a refund. 

  • This credit can be used to re-book any available class within 30 days of the credit issuance date.

  • Refunds will only be issued within compliance with the UAE consumer rights laws. 
     

2. Cancellations Within 24 Hours of Class Start Time

  • For any class (group or private) cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, no refund will be issued.

  • Customers will receive a credit for the missed class, valid for 30 days from the original class date.This allows you to re-book a class at a time that suits you, subject to availability.
     

3. Cancellations 1–4 Hours Before Class

  • If a class is cancelled 1–4 hours before the start time:

    • No refund will be issued.

    • A make-up credit mayl be granted for the first two occurrences only.

    • On the third occurrence, no credit or refund will be offered.

  • This applies to both group and private classes.
     

4. No Shows / Missed Classes

  • If a customer fails to attend a class without any prior cancellation, the session will be considered a no-show, and no refund or credit will be issued.
     

5. Exceptional Circumstances

  • In the case of medical emergencies or circumstances beyond control, customers may contact our support team with supporting documentation. Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
     

6. Class Cancellations by STORM Academy

  • If we are required to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, customers will be offered:

    • A credit for re-booking, based on your preference. The credit will be active in your account for 365 days. 

    • Alternatively, if you would prefer a refund to the original payment method this can also be arranged. 
       

Additional Notes

  • All credits are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of the original cancelled class unless otherwise stated.

  • Credits are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

  • This policy is in accordance with UAE consumer protection regulations and is subject to periodic review and updates.

  • STORM Academy holds the right to adjust, update or remove elements of this refund and cancellation policy at any time.
