STORM Academy competitions are designed to give swimmers the right level of challenge at every stage of their journey — from their first taste of racing at the top end of Learn to Swim, through to high-performance athletes preparing for elite success.
Our meets are open not only to STORM Academy swimmers, but also to any athlete registered a UAE or International team. By welcoming and encouraging overseas teams, we create a platform where regional talent gains valuable exposure to international competition standards, raising the bar for swimming across the UAE and beyond.

PENTAQUA is a UAE first, where all swimmers will compete in all 4 major strokes + medley!
Experience the thrill of racing in one of the UAE’s most iconic aquatic events, push your limits, and compete for prestige and cash prizes on an international stage.

HOW TO REGISTER
Step 1.
Complete the team booking form via the below sign up button & complete payment.
Step 2.
A confirmation email will be shared to your contact email upon payment completion with the HYTEK file.
Step 3.
Team entries need to be made via the Hy-Tek and sent via email to competitions@stormswimmingacademy.com before 1st March 2026 to ensure participation.
Step 4.
The STORM Competitions Team will reply with the psych sheet before 1st April 2026.
We will keep you updated with all information regarding travel & hotel support in the lead up to the competition in May 2026 to ensure a smooth experience for you and your team.

How does the PENTAQUA scoring system work?
The scoring system will be points based, as per the following:
1st Place: 15 points for each event
2nd Place: 12 points for each event
3rd Place: 10 points for each event
4th Place: 8 points for each event
5th Place: 6 points for each event
6th Place: 5 points for each event
7th Place: 4 points for each event
8th Place: 3 point for each event
9th Place: 2 points for each event
10th Place: 1 point for each event
How will the cash prize be awarded?
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall winners in each age category, on the last day of the event. If two swimmers have the same score, the cash prize will be divided equally.
Can swimmers enter multiple events?
To compete in the PENTAQUA Championships all registered swimmers must compete in all 5 events.
FINA/WA rules will be followed.

Storm Explorers Camp is a structured, full-day programme combining swimming, water-safety, rookie lifeguard skills, dryland fitness, sports games, and beach-based activities.
Each day features an adventure theme that builds problem-solving, teamwork, confidence, and physical competency. Critical Thinking and Teamwork are developed through rescue scenarios, group challenges, and guided decision-making tasks, assessed through observation, debriefs, and outcome-based checklists. A strict 1:10 ratio, age-grouped sessions, qualified staff, and comprehensive safety protocols ensure a secure learning environment. As the exclusive provider at The Club, STORM delivers a premium, skills-based camp experience with strong parent communication, daily updates, and meaningful community engagement.
